東方展 @ アプリコ

川端龍子の流れをくむ作家展に行ってきました。
↓は今回の川端龍子賞を受賞した「阿吽」の「吽」。

 
この作品は点描で描かれいるにもかかわらず立体感もだしている。
迫力もあるおもしろい絵でした。

この展覧会はたくさんの作家が出品しているので、
会全体は幅のあるおもしろい展覧会です。

3/6　１４：００まで蒲田のアプリコでやっていて、
その後名古屋でもやるそうです。

白子会という団体と一緒にやるので
名古屋のほうが大体的になるらしいです。

明珠在掌

"myou-jyu-tanagokoroniari"

Introduction

There is a light ball on your palm.

First kanji means "light".
Second kanji means "ball".
ex. jewel, diamond, pearl.
Third kanji means "there is" or " exist ".
Forth kanji means "palm".
 
This phrase tells us that you have already had a precious treasure.
 
Text Translation
There are already wrinkles between your eyebrows.
What are you dissatisfied with?
 
You haven't noticed that you have already the precious thing.
 
Where is it!?
It is in your hands.
You already have it.


A light ball means, it is a precious treasure.
 
So this phrase tells us that there is already a precious treasure in your hands.
Haven't you noticed it?
 
You think that the tresure is far from you?
 
You go to look for it.
 
And you may worry it after.
Is it not yet here?
Did I forget it in my country?
I wonder if there is not it in Japan.
Isn't it in Japan?
Can't I get it, even if I still continue doing this work?
Is it the fault of this neighbor?
 
You don't try to look for it in your hands.
And then, you still look for it in the far.
Even a Buddhist priest trains himself to look for his own value.
It is difficult to know oneself very well.

喫茶来

Today's term is called "KI-SSA-KO".

Introduction

This word tells us as follows.

Have affording to offer one cup of tea to any person that you dislike.

 

First kanji means "drinking".

Second kanji means "tea".

Third kanji means "coming".

We need to show goodness to everyone even if they are not deserving.

 

Text translation

"I'm glad you've come."

"Anyway, Will you have some tea?"

 Such a scene is familiar to us.

Your heart is expressed by one cup of tea which you offer.

Can you offer a cup of tea to any person that you dislike?

 

When someone comes to your room, that person will make any excuse.

Can you think that he could stabilize first his breathing and regain his composure?

And then, can you offer him a cup of tea?

Offering a cup of tea will show that you are glad that he has come.

Offering a cup of tea simply expresses the mind of the zen.

My Opinion

I introduced a zen phrase "Nichi-Nichi-Kore-Kou-Jitsu" at the Last blog ariticle.

I write the most important sentence as follows.

You should spend it savoring every moment, every emotions and every condition, even if anyday. 

I think that today's phrase "Ki-ssa-ko" is included in that mind.

This phrase "Ki-ssa-ko" tells us that we should savor the first moment even if anyone comes.

Because the moment  is a fresh even if anyone comes.
In other words, you never know what will happen.
Nobody knows the next moment whether a good thing happens
or whether a bad thing happens.
We need to prepare future we never know.

日々是好日

Now I try to translate this book "Hotto-suru-zenngo".

"Hotto-suru-zenngo" means that Zen phrase makes you feel relieved.
ZEN is one of the Buddhism's mind.

Today I'd like to introduce one phrase as follows,

"Nichi Nichi kore kou-jitsu"

Introduction

This phrase means that "Any day is a good day".

First, second and fifth kanji "日" means "a day".
Third kanji "是" means "this is".
Forth kanji "好" means "good".

Text Translation
When I opened a curtain in the morning,
I found that the black cloud coverd the sky and it was raining.
It was a cold day.

I had to go to the employment agency on that afternoon.

I thought that I couldn't use my bicycle and that I must walk
because it was raining.
Tomorrow is the deadline of my credit card.
At that time, I found a defect in my stockings.

If you are in such situation, can you still say that it is a good day?

However this phrase means, every day is a fresh and best day even if it is any day.

You should spend it savoring every moment, every emotions and every condition even if today is any day.

If you behave like this,
then it will be an irreplacaeble moment.

My opinion
It is snowing a lot today in Japan of the Pacific side.
It is unusual for heavy snow to fall in Tokyo.
The snow is annoying to an adult.
However children welcome a lot of snow.
It may become the unusual and interesting day if we come back in a child's mind.
